Hits Galore: Gonzales Drills 5 Hits
It was a great day at the plate for Julio Gonzales. For his St. Louis Lions, the day was not nearly as good.

The right fielder collected 5 hits in 6 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Miami Sun Sox snatched the victory, topping the Lions by a score of 8-7.

"Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Gonzales said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right."

Julio Gonzales doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Armando Aguilar in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
