The Vancouver Grizzlies licked the Denver Cutthroats, 7-4. Young-jin Kim deserved a big chunk of the credit. The catcher went 3 for 6 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Grizzlies. Matthew Browning, credited with the win in relief, is now 7-2. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4 innings. After today's action, Vancouver sits at 35-47; Denver slips to 36-46.

Kim had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 1-0 sinker from Matt Jacobs, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Grizzlies a 7-4 lead. It was the 18th home run of the year for Kim.

"It took some blood and sweat, but we got what we were after," said Grizzlies manager David Schaff.
