The Las Vegas Aces overcame a pretty good performance by Denver designated hitter Stephen Barker, beating the Cutthroats, 13-11, at Cutter's Cove. Barker went 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Gary Ayala, 4-6, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. The Aces have now won 4 straight.

Las Vegas used the clutch hitting of Marco Llamas to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Aces the lead, 12-11. For the game, Llamas had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
