Warriors Get Clutch Win Versus Toronto
|
Chris Daniels was locked in. The right-hander led the Washington Warriors to a 4-3 win against the Toronto Titans at Warriors Park. The win makes Washington 30-34.
Doug Rodriquez was the walk-off hero for Washington. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Warriors catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I'm happy we won," said Daniels. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
