The 14-13 Vancouver win over Denver was due largely to Young-jin Kim. The Grizzlies catcher went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Vancouver reliever Matthew Browning picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Matt Jacobs took the loss. The last-place Cutthroats have dropped 8 straight games.

Matt Schneider was the walk-off hero for Vancouver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Grizzlies designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Schneider told reporters after the game.
