Denver starter Sergio Hernandez clamped down on the Minnesota offense, while his team sailed to victory, 12-2. The Cutthroats have now reeled off 9 straight wins.

Jason Hamel had a big 2-run double for the Cutthroats in the top of the fifth inning. With Denver leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Alex Ocampo, who finished 2nd in the WC in ERA with 2.65 last year, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cutthroats ahead, 4-0.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Hernandez said after the game.
