Batten Hits 2 home runs in Roadrunners Win
The San Diego Roadrunners beat the Los Angeles Knights, 9-8, at Camelot. The win was due in part to first baseman Casey Batten, who went 3-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. Ray Escamilla earned save number 4. With the victory, the Roadrunners upped their record to 11-9.

In the top of the eighth, the Roadrunners grabbed the lead when Batten hit his 7th home run of the season. The solo home run off John Robles made it 7-6, San Diego.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Batten. "It made for an exciting game."
