5 Hits for Bluebirds Salgado Monday, September 22nd , 2025 The Nashville (R) Bluebirds upended the Toronto (R) Titans at PBC Rookie Development Complex, thanks in large part to second baseman Nelson Salgado, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Bluebirds to a 6-5 victory. Nelson Salgado singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ivan Cruz in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Giannini in the 10th, walked in the 11th, flied out in the 13th and hit a solo-shot off Chris McLeod in the 16th.
