Salgado Strokes 3 HR Against Toronto (R) Monday, September 22nd , 2025 Nelson Salgado showed off his power as he launched three balls into the seats against the Toronto (R) Titans and sparked the Bluebirds to a win, 6-5. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at PBC Rookie Development Complex." For the day, Salgado collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Nashville (R) skipper Ken Tyler said. "Nelson really put on a show." Nelson Salgado singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ivan Cruz in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Giannini in the 10th, walked in the 11th, flied out in the 13th and hit a solo-shot off Chris McLeod in the 16th. For the season, Salgado has hit .322 with 25 home runs and 87 RBIs. He has played in 95 games and scored 72 times. |
