Boston (R) Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Monday, September 22nd , 2025 It wasn't meant to be for the Boston (R) Shamrocks this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Shamrocks third baseman Nick Kraemer. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." The Shamrocks have made the playoffs 6 times in their 18 years as a PBC Rookie Complex League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2023. In the last 10 seasons, the Shamrocks have made the playoffs 5 times. Boston (R) has won the Championship Cup 2 times in their history. |
