The Houston (R) pitcher struck out 6 and walked 2 while allowing 6 hits. "Amato was good but he wasn't flawless," Denver (R) manager Jeremy Richardson said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Houston (R), but this is on us."
