3-HR Game for Land Monday, September 15th , 2025 In a powerful performance that left the fans at PBC Rookie Development Complex buzzing, Nashville (R) Bluebirds first baseman Charles Land blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 11-8, over the Detroit (R) Motors. "Everything was clicking," Land told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Land shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Bluebirds manager Ken Tyler said. "Charles played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Charles Land hit a solo-shot off Andres Rosales in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Guillermo Rivera in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Orlando Hernandez in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. In 50 games Land is hitting .265 this season with 50 hits, 8 home runs, 20 RBIs, 29 walks, .376 OBP and has scored 31 runs. |
