Arizona (R) Loses Petrovski for Year Friday, September 12th , 2025 When Dennis Petrovski was hurt against the Los Angeles (R) Knights, the Arizona (R) Suns were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 18-year-old starting pitcher suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Petrovski would miss 14 months of the season. To date, Petrovski has a 2-2 mark in 10 starts with a 4.31 ERA. He has given up 41 hits in 39.2 innings, struck out 44 and issued 14 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .268 batting average against him. |
