Arizona (R)'s Mike Hansen Injured Thursday, September 11th , 2025 The doctors have spoken and Mike Hansen of the Arizona (R) Suns didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old closer is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Hansen sustained his season-ending injury during the Los Angeles (R) Knights game yesterday at PBC Rookie Development Complex. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Arizona (R) medical staff reported Hansen had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. This year, Mike Hansen has been credited with 5 saves. In 23 relief appearances and 39 innings pitched, he has a 2-7 won-lost mark, 5.54 ERA and 53 strikeouts |
