The numbers that Detroit (R)'s Chris Martinez put up last week were the envy of the league, as Martinez came away with RCL East Player of the Week honors. He belted out 9 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs last week as he posted his .562 batting average. This year, Martinez has hit at a .278 pace and produced 48 RBIs, 12 home runs and scored 42 runs. |
