Schaeffer 5-for-5 Against New York City (R) Friday, August 15th , 2025 Tampa Bay (R) third baseman Michel Schaeffer had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the New York City (R) Gothams at PBC Rookie Development Complex as the Thunder picked up a win, 15-1. "He was patient up there," Tampa Bay (R) skipper Brandon Land told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Schaeffer has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Michel Schaeffer hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
