Tucker 5-for-6 Against Gothams Monday, August 4th , 2025 Philadelphia (R) Keystones first baseman James Tucker had a day to remember at PBC Rookie Development Complex, ripping apart the New York City (R) Gothams and sparking the 15-5 Keystones win. Tucker wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Tucker told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." James Tucker singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Miguel Feal in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Miguel Castillo in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jose Flores in the 8th.
