Guevara Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Boston (R) Monday, July 21st , 2025 The Boston (R) Shamrocks pitching staff did its job, holding hot-hitting Arturo Guevara hitless in 3 at-bats during the club's 5-1 victory over the Washington (R) Warriors at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The disappointing performance ended a 21-game hitting streak for the first baseman. "I'm a little down right now," Guevara said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." This season, Guevara is batting .325 with 67 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 26 times and has 33 runs batted in. |
