Guevara Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, July 19th , 2025 Arturo Guevara's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Washington (R). The 17-year-old first baseman extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 3-for-6 performance against the Boston (R) Shamrocks. The Warriors won the game, 13-2. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Arturo Guevara struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year, Guevara is batting .327 with 65 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 26 times and has batted in 32 runs. |
