Guillen 24-Game Hitting Streak Ends Friday, June 27th , 2025 It just wasn't Hector Guillen's day. The Minnesota (R) Loons grabbed the 3-1 win over the Los Angeles (R) Knights, but the Knights mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 24-game hitting streak of Loons catcher Hector Guillen. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Guillen," Los Angeles (R) manager Ryan Weischedel commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Loons have other hitters and they did their job today." So far this season, Guillen has hit .312 with 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 22 times. |
