Pinon Shuts Out Las Vegas (R), 14-0 Friday, June 13th , 2025 The Las Vegas (R) Aces were almost helpless in their 14-0 loss to the Denver (R) Cutthroats and hurler Javier Pinon. Pinon kept the Aces confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Pinon," Las Vegas (R) manager Wout Hendriks said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 19-year-old right-hander had 4 walks and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Pinon said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." This season to date, Pinon has a record of 4 wins and no losses with a 2.54 ERA, has appeared in 8 games and struck out 46 in 49.2 innings.
