Superb Year for Manship, Wins Most Valuable Player Award

He may have less experience than most of his PBC Rookie Complex League peers, but that didn't slow Chris Manship down at all in 2025.
At the age of 18, the Seattle (R) third baseman has been named the winner of the RCL West Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .403 batting average and a .491 on-base percentage this year. In 60 games he piled up 96 hits, 19 doubles, 2 triples, 15 home runs, 53 RBIs and 52 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 24. Luis Motta of the Las Vegas (R) Aces finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Idurre Magdaleno of the El Paso (R) Diablos finished third.
