Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Sandoval Sunday, October 26th , 2025 At the age of 18, Luis Sandoval says he still has a lot to learn about life in PBC Rookie Complex League. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the New York City (R) Gothams reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2025 RCL East Reliever of the Year Award. For the season, Sandoval had 5 saves in 32 relief appearances, which totaled 63.1. He fanned 69 betters, while walking 37 and put up a record of 7-3 to go with his 2.84 ERA. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Victor Avalos of the St. Louis (R) Lions finished second in voting, while Antonio Costas of the Nashville (R) Bluebirds finished third.
