Trevor Mitchell Nabs Prestigious Pitcher of the Year Award Wednesday, September 24th , 2025 Trevor Mitchell of the Fort Wayne Farmers has been selected the premier pitcher in the Eastern Amateur Circuit and will receive the Pitcher of the Year Award for 2025. The top vote-getter completed the year with a 14-7 record. He started 29 times, threw 195 innings, chalked up 197 strikeouts and 96 walks, limited hitters to a .217 batting average and posted an impressive 2.68 ERA. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ramon Aranda of the Boston Battalion finished second in voting, while Danny Lara of the Brooklyn Atlantics finished third.
