Villasana Wins WAC Manager of the Year Trophy Tuesday, September 23rd , 2025 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Manny Villasana, he seems to have taken the Albuquerque Coyotes to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Western Amateur Circuit for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Villasana led Albuquerque to a first place finish in the Western Amateur Circuit. The Coyotes ended up with a 81-63 record. |
