WAC Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Sunday, September 21st , 2025 When Ryan Payne jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs. The Albuquerque Coyotes closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the Western Amateur Circuit Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2025. His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 17 saves in 48 relief appearances, 73 strikeouts in 75.1 innings and only 33 walks. He had a record of 8 wins and 4 losses to go with his 2.51 ERA. "I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ji-hu Kim of the Arlington Stars finished second in voting, while Jun-young Kim of the Dallas Bulls finished third.
