Cook Smacks 5 Hits for Coyotes Friday, September 5th , 2025 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Brad Cook -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Coyote Park and paced the 17-4 Coyotes win over the Franklin Knights. After his dynamite batting performance, the Albuquerque first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Brad Cook hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Edgar Santiago in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season, Cook has recorded a .291 batting average with 39 hits, 11 home runs, 32 RBIs, 28 runs scored and a .396 OBP. View Boxscore |
