Eastern Amateur Circuit Selects Best Performer Monday, September 1st , 2025 A hot-hitting week got Chris Green the Eastern Amateur Circuit Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Manchester second baseman slammed them for a .455 average, 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 3 runs. In the postgame press conference, Green shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." For the season, Green is batting .287 with 51 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 37 times and batted in 24. |
