Boston Loses Dave Ybarra, Will Miss Season Tuesday, August 26th , 2025 After injuring himself, Battalion reliever Dave Ybarra headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Ybarra will miss at least 10 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Ybarra's record this year is 1-and-2 with no saves and a 6.00 ERA. He has given up 57 hits in 45 innings with 43 strikeouts. |
