Oil City's Peterson Injured, Out of Lineup Tuesday, August 26th , 2025 Nick Peterson of the Oil City Oilers was injured in today's game against Providence and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn rotator cuff, and he is expected to be out for up to 14-15 months. It happened while Peterson was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Over the season, Peterson has made 11 relief appearances with no saves. He has K'd 23 batters in 31.2 innings, yielded 25 walks and has a 5.68 ERA. Peterson's record this year is 0-2. |
