Leal's Season Could be Over Saturday, August 23rd , 2025 The season is apparently over for Juan Leal. The Franklin Knights medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 4 months with shoulder inflammation. Leal was hurt in the game against Boston while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year, Leal has a 2-1 mark in 7 starts with a 3.12 ERA. He has given up 31 hits in 43.1 innings, struck out 54 and issued 29 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .199 batting average against him. |
