Atlantics Carson Booms 3 HRs Friday, August 22nd , 2025 Fans seated in the bleacher section at Atlantics Ballpark were taking cover all day long as Dave Carson zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power. The big game from the Brooklyn right fielder helped the Atlantics take the victory, 6-5, over the Manhattan Liberty. "I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing." For the game, he collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 3 and scored 3 runs. Dave Carson hit a solo-shot off Alex Ortiz in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Alex Ortiz in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Juan Casarez in the 7th and walked in the 9th. In his season totals Carson has 15 home runs and a .298 batting average. |
