Santa's Strong Week Earns WAC Trophy Monday, August 11th , 2025 A battle-tested Jorge Santa declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 34-year-old San Diego second baseman collected the Western Amateur Circuit Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .462 average, 6 hits in 13 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. For the season, Santa has hit .305 with 4 home runs and 23 RBIs.
