Star of the Week Picked in EAC Monday, August 11th , 2025 The Player of the Week has been announced by the Eastern Amateur Circuit. The award went to Alex Sanchez, second baseman of the St. Petersburg Pelicans. He dominated league pitchers with a .500 average to win the honor. Sanchez went 13-for-26 for the week, totaled 1 home run with 4 RBIs and scored 5 times. To date this year, Sanchez is batting .252 with 7 home runs. |
