Year Ends for Pete Michelson in Dallas Thursday, August 7th , 2025 The doctors have spoken and Pete Michelson of the Dallas Bulls didn't like what he heard. The 29-year-old third baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Michelson sustained his season-ending injury during the Yuma Gnomes game yesterday at Dallas Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while colliding with a player at a base. Today the Dallas medical staff reported Michelson had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months. So far this season, Michelson is batting .162 with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 29 hits in 179 at-bats, 13 walks and a .222 OBP. Michelson has played in 56 games. |
