WAC Top Pitcher Award for July to Gomez Friday, August 1st , 2025 Hollywood starter Bob Gomez claimed the Western Amateur Circuit Pitcher of the Month Award today with his strong performance in July. The 26-year-old starter tossed 42 innings of solid baseball, putting up a 1.93 ERA, 36 strikeouts and a 5-0 record in 6 starts. On his stats sheet for the year Gomez shows a 11-2 record, 17 starts, 117.2 innings, 106 strikeouts and a 2.83 ERA. |
