Aztecs Torrance Named WAC's #1 Player Monday, July 7th , 2025 It was announced today by the Western Amateur Circuit that San Diego left fielder David Torrance had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The San Diego left fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .458 average (11-for-24) with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Torrance has a .259 average and a .335 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 83 hits, 10 home runs and driven in 41 runs. |
