Providence's Dun Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Tuesday, April 15th , 2025 The Providence Grays stopped the Fort Wayne Farmers by a score of 10-7 at Farmers Field, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Hoo-gwo Dun. The 25-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Dun said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Dun did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Farmers. "Not much that I can say," offered Fort Wayne manager Danny Collins. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Hoo-gwo Dun hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Franklin Sital in the 6th and singled in the 8th. View Boxscore |
