Ottawa Takes Title Saturday, October 18th , 2025 The Ottawa Capitals ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Southern California Empires 6-4 to win the SPBC Classic Series. Ottawa won the series 4-2, capturing the title for the 4th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Ottawa manager Noel Dolce. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 83-79 and claimed third place in the Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and third baseman Nick White said the Capitals have "great fans and they deserve this." "I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
