Empires Win Play-in Series Sunday, September 28th , 2025 The Saskatoon Moose were simply overmatched by the Southern California Empires in the Play-in Series. The end result was a sweep, as Southern California has cruised to the Circuit Championship Series, with the final win coming at Moose Grounds by a score of 12-4. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Elijah Calliste, who was named MVP of the Play-in Series. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Calliste hit .500 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 2 runs.
