Stewart Hits in 33 Consecutive Games Tuesday, September 23rd , 2025 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Preston Stewart did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Canadians Park. For the last 33 games in a row, the 30-year-old shortstop has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Sherbrooke Canadians beat the New York Knights, 4-3. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Stewart told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Sherbrooke clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Preston Stewart grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. Stewart is currently batting .305 with 17 home runs, 80 RBIs and 82 runs scored. He has 174 hits in 571 at-bats. |
