ESPC's #1 Player Named Monday, September 22nd , 2025 New York fans have something to crow about today as New York right fielder Brian Cecchi nabbed the Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Cecchi. He posted a .450 average (9-for-20) this past week with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 5 runs scored. This season, Cecchi has delivered 106 hits in 388 at-bats for a .273 average with 16 home runs. He is getting on base at a .316 clip and his totals also include 56 RBIs and 54 runs scored. This year Cecchi has played in 98 games. |
