Stewart Hit Streak Reaches 30 Games Saturday, September 20th , 2025 Preston Stewart, shortstop for the Sherbrooke Canadians, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30 games with 1 hit in his club's 3-1 victory over the Hamilton Tigers at Hamilton Park. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Preston Stewart doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This year, Stewart has 17 home runs and a .304 batting average. |
