No Playoff Berth Coming for Albany Wednesday, September 17th , 2025 The Albany Senators kept up the playoff chase as long as they could in 2025, but now have had those chances dashed. The Senators were mathematically eliminated from contention today. Albany last appeared in the postseason in 2023. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 21 times in their 24-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Senators have only made the playoffs once. |
