Via Earns WSPC Player of the Week Monday, September 8th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Art Via was in a class by himself in the Western Semi-Pro Circuit this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Winnipeg tagged opposing pitchers for a .692 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 9 hits in 13 at-bats, 2 homers, 3 runs scored and 5 RBIs. So far this season, Via has put up a .324 batting average with 164 hits, 21 home runs and 77 RBIs. |
