ESPC Honors Lejnev, #1 Batter in August Monday, September 1st , 2025 August was a good month for Rodion Lejnev. The Detroit third baseman had his way with opposing pitchers all month while posting a .374 batting average and was selected as the Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit Batter of the Month. Last month Lejnev put up some solid numbers: 6 home runs, 21 RBIs, 19 runs scored and a .452 on-base percentage. This season, Lejnev is swinging the bat at a .294 rate with 138 hits in 470 at-bats. To date he has hit 15 home runs, scored 70 runs and driven in 74. |
