WSPC Star of the Week Honored Monday, August 18th , 2025 26-year-old Roberto Astudillo sent shock waves through Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Western Semi-Pro Circuit Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Astudillo made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .393 average, 11 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 runs batted in. Where the Winnipeg Buffaloes second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Astudillo certainly made his mark last week. Currently Astudillo is batting .275 with 60 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 37 runs and scored 33 times. |
