Carranza Puts Screws to Edmonton Sunday, August 10th , 2025 Angelo Carranza of the Vancouver Narwhals humiliated the Edmonton Drillers at Narwhals Stadium, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 6 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Edmonton manager Matt Driggs, after the game. Carranza whiffed 4 and walked 1 in the 9-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Carranza said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." In 24 starts this year, Carranza has crafted a 9-9 record and a 3.97 ERA.
