Mortensen Gives Green Bay Goose Eggs Friday, August 8th , 2025 It was not a good day at the plate for the Green Bay Braves. They came up empty when it mattered against Vacaville Steelheads left-hander Jason Mortensen, who scattered 5 hits across 9 innings and held the Braves scoreless. "We had 5 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Green Bay manager Keith Owens said later. Mortensen chalked up 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 8-0 Steelheads win.
