Edmonton, Allentown Agree to Trade Sunday, July 27th , 2025 A trade was announced today at a press conference in Edmonton. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Edmonton Drillers general manager shook things up by acquiring 24-year old minor league 3B Wil Martinez from the Allentown Fleetwings for 28-year old minor league RHP Jon Eddy and 24-year old minor league RHP Bobby Crawford. "We're a better team now," Drillers general manager Chris Saari said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle." This season, Eddy has earned 1 saves, tossed 11 innings, made 6 relief appearances, fanned 8 hitters and posted an ERA of 4.91. Teams are hitting .360 against him. |
